We offer a Part Exchange scheme to help you move into your new home faster with no estate agent fees, no chains, no stress.
If you’re ready to move but struggling to sell your current property, the Bloor Homes Part Exchange scheme makes moving simple. We’ll purchase your existing home, giving you a guaranteed buyer and the freedom to move into your brand new Bloor home without delays or uncertainty.
How does the Bloor Homes Part Exchange process work?
- Find your new Bloor home - Visit one of our participating developments and speak with our friendly sales team about your eligibility.
- Receive independent valuations - We’ll arrange at least two local estate agents to provide fair, independent valuations of your existing property.
- Get your offer - We’ll use these valuations to make you a formal offer, usually within 48 hours.
- Move in when your ready - Once you accept our offer, pay a £750 reservation fee. Your solicitor and our team will coordinate a smooth, chain-free completion so you can move straight into your new Bloor home.

What is a Part Exchange Scheme When Buying a New Build?
A part exchange scheme allows you to sell your current home directly to the housebuilder when purchasing a new build.
With Bloor Homes, you avoid listing with an estate agent, paying fees, or waiting for offers. We act as your buyer so you can move when your new home is ready.
This is ideal for anyone looking to move up the property ladder with confidence and avoid lengthy sales chains.
Who Can Use the Part Exchange Scheme?
To qualify for Part Exchange, your current home must:
- Be worth no more than 70% of the value of your new Bloor home
- Be in good overall condition (inside and out)
We can also consider homes originally purchased through Help to Buy for Part Exchange. Please speak to your local sales advisor for details. If you’re downsizing, our Assisted Move scheme may be a better fit, our team can guide you through both options and discuss which is best for you.

To be eligible to use Part Exchange on one of our new homes, your existing house will need to meet some of our Purchasing Criteria. You will be asked to fill in a short questionnaire to help understand if your property is eligible.
Your existing property shouldn’t be worth more than 70% of the price of the new Bloor home you would like to buy and will need to be kept in a good condition both inside and outside.
We can discuss Part Exchange if your house has been purchased under the Government’s Help to Buy scheme. We would require further details of the outstanding Help to Buy loan, and ensure the property fits our Purchasing Criteria.

Part Exchange can only be used for those looking to upsize, as your existing property cannot be worth more than 70% of the price of your chosen new Bloor home. We can still help you by introducing you to our Assisted Move scheme, helping you sell your larger home within a 4 week period and covering the costs of estate agents’ fees*.
