Putting prices within reach at Pewsey

Date:   15/11/2007
Region:   South West

In recent years, spiralling house prices have placed many new properties out of local people's reach. That is, until now, thanks to a new joint discount scheme between us and Kennet District Council that makes it easier for local first-time buyers and families to remain in Pewsey.

As Brian Bloomfield, Sales Director, explained, the new discount scheme is great news for locals. "Local people are often the lifeblood of any location," said Brian. "That's why we welcome the scheme, as it places beautiful new properties within the price range of people that want to remain in their home village."

Among the criteria for benefiting from the scheme is having a place on the Kennet District Council housing register and a local connection with Pewsey, for example, living and working in the area.

Currently available properties at Cooper's Court include one and two-bed apartments from just £89,850; two-bed apartments from £115,552, which will be ready for occupation in December; three-bed homes from £224,9985; and four-bed properties from £269,995.

Alongside Cooper's Court's attractive prices, Brian believes the location also has much more in its favour: "It's a lovely, quiet location with attractive surrounds. What's more, with a railway station just five minutes' walk away, commuting to nearby towns and farther-flung cities couldn't be easier."
